Here's what parents have to say about our camps!

My kids love every minute and learn so much!! It’s educational and fun at the same time. My kids look forward to it all year and are so excited to go. As a parent that gives you peace of mind leaving them for the day. All the leaders have been wonderful also. Highly recommend!!

Jody S.

This is the first summer camp my kids have LOVED. They come home every day excited to talk about everything they got to see and learn and do. And they cannot wait to get back the next day and see what is next!

Angela K.

My daughter really enjoyed your program! Instructor were fabulous and engaging. We only did a half day am camp and every day my daughter asked to "please stay longer"!

Who are the Mad Science camp instructors and how many are at each camp?

Mad Science instructors can be University students pursuing an Education Degree or Science Degree, former/retired teachers, or teachers on summer break. All of our instructors have experience working with large groups of children and have undergone extensive background checks. Each camp will have two instructors.

Is pre and/or post care available?

Yes. We provide free before and after care from 8:30AM - 4:30PM. Extended care is available from 8:00AM - 5:00PM for an additional fee. NOTE: not available to campers registered in a half day camp. NOTE: must be arranged for in advance by contacting our office at 403-263-4140. Please provide one weeks notice if needed.

Who supervises my child if they are registered in both a morning & afternoon camp?

Campers registered in both the morning and afternoon half day camps will remain with Mad Science during the lunch break for supervised games and play. When signing up for the morning camp, click STAYS FULL DAY in the dismissal options, so we know your child remains with us for the supervised break.

What should I pack for my child each day?

Full Day Campers: lunch, water bottle, snacks, and hat. Hall Day Campers: snack, water bottle, and hat. Weather permitting we will be spending time outdoors at the facility so you may want to pack a hat or sunscreen. NOTE: To eliminate common shared items, such as pencils, a full list (dependent on camp type) will be sent to you at a later time.

Are your camps nut free?

YES. No nuts are allowed at our camps. Kindly pack other options for your child as we could have campers with severe allergies.

What happens after I register?

You will receive an order confirmation shortly after completing your registration. One week before camp begins, you will receive an email with important information including what to pack and drop off/pick up instructions.
