Preschool & Kindergarten Workshops
Our ECS workshops offer hands-on learning experiences in an age-appropriate exploration of a single science topic. Children will enjoy engaging demos, perform simple experiments, and discover how science helps us understand our world. All ECS workshops are 45 minutes in length and can accommodate up to 25 children per class.

Grade School One Hour Workshops
Natural Science Workshops
These workshops are one hour in length and can accommodate up to 30 children.
Structured as an in-class field trip with professional lesson plans, equipment and animated instructors (with background safety checks) we are able to provide convenient and engaging learning experiences for your classrooms.
With almost 30 topics to choose from, we have something for you!
Engineering Workshops
These workshops are one hour in length and can accommodate up to 30 children.
Students will build an engineering-themed project using LEGO® Bricks & the Engineering Design Process. Critical thinking, cooperation and creative problem-solving will be encouraged to test & improve upon creations.
Themes include mechanical, structural, aerospace, nautical, and bio-engineering.
Forensic Lab
Originally created for the previous Grade 6 unit Evidence & Investigation, applicable now for The Scientific Method, this program will challenge & teach students how to make hypotheses, observations and conclusions.
Made up of 5 cumulative one hour sessions, this program is an excellent and convenient educational resource.

The visit from Mad scientist Microscope Mark in our Div. 1 classes was GREAT!!. He was funny, showed knowledge of the topics and was always sure that children were engaged and participating at all times.
